The Chalet Retreat Ministries began in the 1980s, originally founded as a sanctuary for ministry leaders, pastors, and missionaries—those on the frontlines of Kingdom work—providing a place of spiritual renewal, rest, and restoration. Over the years, the property changed hands, and its full potential remained untapped, awaiting a fresh vision and purpose to bring it back to life.
In 2021, God led a new chapter for The Chalet Retreat, placing it on the hearts of those who would restore it to its original mission. With a deep commitment to spiritual renewal and transformation, the work began to rebuild this sacred space, creating a haven where weary souls could come for peace, rest, and clarity in their calling. The Chalet Retreat continues to be revived as a place of healing, restoration, and purpose for those seeking to reconnect with God’s will for their lives.

Mickey & Nicole Holm
In 2021, God called Mickey and Nicole, a couple with over 20 years of ministry experience, to step into a new chapter of their lives and restore The Chalet Retreat to its God-given purpose. Having served in various ministry roles, they understand the unique pressures and challenges faced by those in full-time service. They saw The Chalet Retreat as more than just a place of rest—it was a place of transformation, where lives, marriages, and callings could be renewed.
Together with their three children, Mickey and Nicole are committed to making The Chalet Retreat a refuge for ministry leaders and families. Their vision is to create a space where people can not only find physical rest but also experience deep spiritual renewal, leaving restored and reconnected with God’s purpose for their lives.
